Mike and Randi Fossum log home
Several years ago Mike and Randi purchased a 40-acre plot at the Wild Horse Ranch, just west of Laramie, WY. The ranch originally had been a cattle ranch, but was purchased by Brooks Properties and divided into 383, 40-acre plots, graded for gravel roads and an owner’s association was formed. Mike and Randi’s property is located on Bronco Rd., just south of the main entrance on WY. Hwy. 130. A few years ago a 40’x 30′ living quarters and garage combo was built by Duramack’s out of Cheyenne, WY. This will serve as a place to stay while their log home is being built. In June, 2018, they visited Montana Log Homes in Kalispell, MT, where we met Brad Neu. We decided on a log home package through Montana Log Homes and a design was picked. We anticipate the foundation to be completed in June of 2019, with the logs being delivered and erected during the summer. Follow along as the log-smiths handcraft these skip peeled Lodgepole pine logs into Mike and Randi’s one of a kind log home.
