LaCost Family Mountain Log Home
Early this spring Michael and Tara met with Jake Henry of Jake’s Drafting Service to discuss plans to build a log home near Steamboat springs Colorado. Jake suggest that they also meet with Gabe Butler of Montana Log Homes of Colorado. The three met and toured a couple of Montana Log homes in the area. Michael and Tara loved what they saw and immediately starting making plans for their new home. Jake made modifications to the MLH-058, which he had designed years earlier, to better suit the families needs and tastes. Here we are a few months later handcrafting a beautiful one of a kind home for Michael, Tara and the family. This home is being built in the chink style of construction using 16″ average diameter Western Red Cedar logs.
